If you're familiar at all with Colorado weather, you'll know she has a hard time making up her mind. This means we get drops of rain, followed by scorching sun. Needless to say, our pond gets used quite a lot in the summer for guests after a quick cool down! From the weather, to celebrating two birthdays, last week didn't host one dull moment. We had just under 40 guests at the ranch, so it was a full house. We had some fun watching a red-tailed hawk (picture below) being chased around by our resident area blackbirds. From the usual trail riding and fishing, to square dancing and leatherwork classes, we kept our guests pretty busy last week. Arena games are always a good way to end out a fantastic week.
