BMR Best of Week 12 – As the summer starts to wind down and fall approaches, we are still having some fantastic weather at the ranch and some fabulous guests making the most of it. Two families from the UK as well as some returners helped make up our 34 guests this week. BMR 2016 Summer Week 11

Best of Week 11 – Phew! Our biggest week ever, 46 guests came to get their slice of BMR heaven, keeping Chef Bob on his toes, the wranglers on their game and the girls of housekeeping busy. Great to see returners Chris, Nicole, Chloe, Jason, Lana, Avery, Harper, Vicki and Hattie back and nice to make some new friends. As part of our ongoing contribution to the Vail Veterans program we were also proud to host the Inbodys – David, Tiffany and their three great kids Morgan, Daniel and Matthew. BMR 2016 Summer Week 10

BMR Best of Week 10 – They say in Colorado “If you don’t like the weather wait 15 minutes!” and that was certainly the case this week as we started the week off with a thunderstorm that yielded a wonderful rainbow not long after. Guests this week cam from all corners of America plus the UK and Germany. Lots of long rides meant the hot tubs were popular to ease those sore muscles at the end of the day and making leather bracelets in the saloon was a bit hit with the kids too. …

BMR 2016 Summer Week 9

Best of BMR Week 9. 38 guests this week including 12 returners. A whole range of ages from 9 years old to 80 and a great range of riding skills too, from ‘never evers’ to English style hunter/jumpers and Western cutting horse riders. Best of Week 8. Hi there, apologies for nothing last week and the delay this week. I was off Week 7 and then we’ve had some internet problems this week. Anyway here with the best of Week 8. 35 guests including 3 families from the UK one of them a returning family from 2013. Lots of kids made new friends and competed hard in the kids arena games. BMR 2016 Summer Week 6

Best of Week 6. 45 guests this week including 29 that formed a family reunion. American Independence day on Monday was celebrated by us dressing up the saloon and the lodge as well as painting horses and faces red white and blue. The typically schizophrenic Colorado mountain weather delivered a massive hailstorm up at Jake’s Lake on 4th July after the dinner ride up there. Snowman were built! Best of BMR Week 5. Family weeks continue at the ranch. 37 guests this week including long time returning guest John Agnetti (12 years this year) with his grown up children Melissa and Nick. We celebrated is 60th birthday in style with whisky shots in the saloon! Californian Maggie Turner who turned 50 this year decided she wanted to celebrate the milestone here with her extended family – 11 of them who all loved to ride together. BMR Week 4 – The first of our family weeks. That means kids and there were plenty of them this week! One bit of rain on Wednesday¬†didn’t dampen anyone’s spirits as the rest of the week was hot and sunny. Lots of activities as well as riding, swimming, fishing and paddle-boarding up at Jake’s Lake, leatherwork (making bracelets and keyrings) in the saloon and ‘pony spa’ grooming sessions in the corral.
