Monday, June 5, 2023 Blog New Faces On The Ranch Previous The Physical and Mental Health Benefits of the Outdoors Next Fun For The Fourth We just said goodbye to our second week of guests and hello to week three. What a great first two weeks we had. It is finally starting to warm up on the ranch and the snow has pretty much all melted. This winter the ranch got plenty of snow and depending on whom you ask, too much. But now the grass is green and the flowers are blooming and we are ready for the summer heat. We welcomed some new animals onto our property last week. We now have two goats down in the pin with our mini horses and they seem to be getting along just great. Four new baby chicks, three new ducks and last week got our last truckload of cows. It is always fun coming to the ranch to see what new animals are there for the year. Along with our new animals we have welcomed quite a few new staff members. In the barn we welcomed six new wranglers who have adjusted well and fit in great with our team. This year we have a brand new kitchen staff that has learned the ropes pretty quick. Although if you a returning guest you probably know who Bob-O is, and how he was suppose to retire, well you are in luck because chef Bob is back for yet another year. We are so excited to kick off another year with such amazing staff for this summer. If you are reading this and are planning on vacationing with us this year we cannot wait to have you at Black Mountain Ranch.
