Eadweard Muybridge: Pioneer of the First Horse Locomotion

Horse Lovers Rejoice! Yesterday’s “Google Doodle” was the first animation by Eadweard Muybridge, which he composed to answer the question of whether a horse’s four legs are airborne at the same time while trotting. Why did Google choose to feature such a doodle?  Yesterday would have been his 182nd Birthday.
