Week five at Black Mountain Ranch was again, a full house! We had 42 guests at the ranch again. Most importantly, we went on a road trip and picked up some great new horses for y'all to ride! Amy, our Head Wrangler and Nicola were sent to Missouri to go shopping for new horses. Yeehaw! They took Kyle to help with the driving, which was good as they had to battle through a flat tire on the way there, as well as some torrential rain on the Kansas/Missouri border. The three wranger's spent a day riding and thoroughly testing many horses before deciding on nine to take back to the ranch. If you've never loaded a horse onto a trailer, it's not an easy job! We're so pleased to have some beautiful new horses on the ranch, they are in a quarantine field at the ranch right now and are doing well. Happy Fourth of July!
