We have received many calls and emails over the past few weeks as guests from previous summers and those planning to travel to our Colorado Dude Ranch asking if we are okay. We are so thankful for the concerns and want to report that we are fully operational and running.
Black Mountain Ranch, in McCoy, Colorado, is well over 200 miles away and clear of the fires. Our thoughts are with all of the firefighters and everyone affected, as there are currently 10 wildfires burning in the state of Colorado.

“The Waldo Canyon Fire on the Pike National Forest is a complex incident, and fire managers are working diligently to actively contain and suppress this fire with top consideration to protection of life, property, and natural resources. The overarching objective is to maintain the safety of the public and the firefighters who are battling this wildfire,” Jace Ratzlaff with the United States Department of Agriculture said in a statement."

here. Over 150 horses that were displaced by the High Park fire are being checked out by veternarians in Loveland, for free by CSU Vets. The team has been working over 11 hour days helping to get to the many horses, donkeys, llamas, goats, sheep and calves that were affected by the fire. CSU is accepting
donations for the help that has been provided and that will continue to be needed as the fire continues and as more animals are displaced. In Manitou Springs, more than 200 horses have been evacuated from a wildfire burning nearby.
