Bonjour! Floriane Meylan, known as Flo, is visiting all the way from France. She grew up in Paris and studies Art and Design in Lyon. She has a love (and talent) for rock climbing and drawing. This is Flo's second time in America and her first year working on the ranch. Flo has traveled around Europe and even though her favorite country is Ireland, she says there is no place like Black Mountain Ranch. She served on our kitchen staff but quickly grew attached to horseback riding; Stroker is her favorite. She never let a spare minute go by and could usually be found down at the shooting range, which became another passion of hers. She even managed to teach the ranch dogs commands in French! Always up for an adventure, she traveled all the way to Yellowstone National Park before heading back to France. Flo is already counting down the days until she returns again next summer! Funny Fact: Flo has her American driving permit, watch out! Favorite Ranch Memory: Seeing a black bear for the first time. She initially set a goal to get close enough to touch it . . . luckily we talked her out of that.
