Owner of William, whose official name is Heir of Temptation, Mindy Peters told the Santa Barbara News-Press that her six-year-old Arabian show horse spoked by the waves, escaped from handlers and after running up and down the shore, swam about two miles out to sea. A coast guard rescue team secured the animal to a rescue boat before bringing him back to shore. What an amazing rescue for the horse and its owner!
