July 11 Blog BMR 2016 Summer Week 6 Best of Week 6. 45 guests this week including 29 that formed a family reunion. American Independence day on Monday was celebrated by us dressing up the saloon and the lodge as well as painting horses and faces red white and blue. The typically schizophrenic Colorado mountain weather delivered a massive hailstorm up at Jake's Lake on 4th July after the dinner ride up there. Snowman were built! July 5 Blog BMR 2016 Summer Week 5 Best of BMR Week 5. Family weeks continue at the ranch. 37 guests this week including long time returning guest John Agnetti (12 years this year) with his grown up children Melissa and Nick. We celebrated is 60th birthday in style with whisky shots in the saloon! Californian Maggie Turner who turned 50 this year decided she wanted to celebrate the milestone here with her extended family - 11 of them who all loved to ride together. June 27 Blog BMR 2016 Summer Week 4 BMR Week 4 - The first of our family weeks. That means kids and there were plenty of them this week! One bit of rain on Wednesday didn't dampen anyone's spirits as the rest of the week was hot and sunny. Lots of activities as well as riding, swimming, fishing and paddle-boarding up at Jake's Lake, leatherwork (making bracelets and keyrings) in the saloon and 'pony spa' grooming sessions in the corral. June 20 Blog BMR 2016 Summer Week 3 Best of Week 3. Last of our early season adult weeks. 25 guests including 8 returners! Brian, Annemarie and their daughter Emily came to visit from Australia. 3 birthdays were celebrated (Kate, Jessica and Joey) and a couple of anniversaries too. Apart from a bit of a little bit of rain on Monday early evening the weather was fabulous. Summer has definitely arrived here in the mountains.
